A Tree Fell on My Roof

When a storm blew through a few weeks ago, no one could have imagined the damage it would cause just to my house. It was pretty quick, but all it took was one lightning strike to the large oak tree to cause mass chaos at my house. The tree cracked and fell onto the roof, damaging large chunks of it. I knew that I was going to have to get a tree specialist as well as a roofing contractor in Brooklyn to help me get order back on my property.

I contacted both the same day, and thankfully both were quite responsive to the situation. The tree surgeon was able to remove the entire tree since the lightning strike had damaged it beyond repair. That left a few gaping holes in my roof, and I contacted the roofing company that had installed a new roof on my neighbor’s house a few years ago. He was satisfied with their work and told me that the price he was given was extremely reasonable. Insurance would be covering the cost, but I still wanted a company that understands the value of hard work and a dollar.

When the roofers came out to look at the damage, they assured me that they could repair the sections that had been damaged. They were even able to match the asphalt shingles so no one would be able to tell the difference between the old roof and the replaced sections. They had everything done within a couple of days of calling them, and I am so grateful for that. I thought that it was going to be a headache that lasted a while, but order was restored quickly. I won’t need to replace the entire roof for several more years, but they are the company I am going to call when that needs done.
